To Fulfill the Great Commission
Matthew 28:19 (KJV) "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."
Mark 12:30 - 31 (KJV) "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these."
Plan of Salvation
In a world that is filled with hurt and sorrow, we want to show you a place of love and comfort. We can only do that through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If you do not know Him personally, we urge you to take that step today! How do you know if you know Jesus Christ personally? The question to ask yourself is this: “If I die today, am I 100 percent sure that I would go to Heaven?” If your answer to that question is anything other than “yes,” we would like to introduce you today.
First, we must realize that we are all sinners. God’s Word tells us this truth in Romans 3:23 (KJV) “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Sin is another way of saying that we come short of perfection by disobeying God.
Second, we must realize that the sin in our lives requires a payment. As sinners there is no way we can make that payment. The only payment that we can make is death and separation. But there is good news, Jesus Christ died for our sins. Romans 6:23 (KJV) “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Third, once we realize that we are sinners and that the wages of sin is death, we now need to look to someone that can provide help. God loved us so much that He sent His only begotten Son to this world for us. Romans 5:8 (KJV) ”But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” God has proved His love for us, but many times we do not love God.
Fourth, we must believe on Jesus Christ and ask Him to save us. We must believe that He died on the cross for our sins, admit that we are sinners, accept His gift to us, confess our sins and ask Him to save us. Knowing about God is not enough. We must accept Him and ask Him to come into our hearts and save us.
Romans 10:13 (KJV) "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
The last thing is to pray for Jesus to save you. Many times we encounter people that say they do not know how to pray. Below is a sample prayer. Just by reciting this prayer will not save you, but by applying the above steps and following God’s Word will.
“Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I deserve Hell. I believe that you died on the cross for me and paid the penalty for my sin.
I believe that you rose from the dead three days later, and I am placing my faith in you. I pray that you will forgive me of my sins and save me. Amen."
If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior, we would like to rejoice with you and pray for you! We would also like to be an encouragement to you by helping you take the next step.
